Coming from Korea as a child, in the bathroom it felt strange to use a shower curtain. The curtain suddenly divided the bathroom as though it was not just for me; somebody else could be in there invading my privacy. The unsettling shower curtain, covered with images of eyes from magazines, points to the scrutiny that binds the experiences of being an immigrant and being a woman.
